Dr. Lipscomb is a proud sixth-generation resident of Baldwin County. After graduating from Foley High School, he attended Auburn University, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He later pursued his medical education at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree.

Following his residency in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Dr. Lipscomb returned to Foley, Alabama, where he currently resides. He is board-certified in both Sleep Medicine and Family Medicine and serves as the Director of Sleep at Baldwin Health in Foley.
Dr. Lipscomb is deeply engaged in his community. He is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Foley Rotary Club and an active member of Jubilee Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama, where he plays in the orchestra. He is also a proud member of the Fairhope Yacht Club.

With more than 25 years at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, he has served as Chief of Medicine during two separate terms, demonstrating his leadership and dedication.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Lipscomb has a passion for global outreach. He has taken part in numerous medical mission trips and has visited over 85 countries and territories, combining his love for medicine and travel to make a global impact.
